Clipboard processing
ClipPilot reads clipboard text while its Chrome side panel is open and when you explicitly request analysis. Detection and deterministic transformations happen inside the extension on your device.
History and sensitive content
Clipboard history is disabled by default. When enabled, recent clips are stored in Chrome's local extension storage. Content identified as sensitive is excluded unless you explicitly enable sensitive-clip storage.
AI providers
Ollama is the default local provider. OpenRouter is optional, and content is submitted only when you invoke an AI action. Detected secrets and personal information are redacted before remote submission by default.
Licensing and payments
Pro purchases and license management are provided by Lemon Squeezy. Activation sends the license key and installation identifier to Lemon Squeezy. Payment information is handled by Lemon Squeezy and is never received by ClipPilot.
Credentials and analytics
OpenRouter keys are session-only by default. ClipPilot includes no advertising trackers or ClipPilot-operated analytics or synchronization server.
Your controls
You can disable monitoring and history, clear local data, deactivate a license, change remote redaction, and uninstall the extension.
